Uses Posatex Otic Suspension contains orbifloxacin, mometasone furoate monohydrate, and posaconazole as active ingredients. This medication is indicated for the treatment of outer ear infection associated with susceptible strains of yeast (Malassezia pachydermatis) and/or bacteria. Cautions Posatex Otic Suspension is contraindicated in dogs with known hypersensitivity to quinolones. Keep out of reach of children. How to use For otic use in dogs only. Shake the bottle well before use. Apply the drops into your pets ear canal as directed by the veterinarian and follow the instructions on manufacturer's packaging. Possible side effects Polydipsia/polyuria, vomiting, weakness, lethargy are some of the possible side effects. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your veterinarian promptly. Missed dose If you miss applying a dose, apply it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not apply twice.
