The manfrotto xpro aluminum video monopod 4 section monopod is an excellent choice for supporting your dslr, mirrorless, compact and/or video cameras. Monopods are often used for providing stability and supporting heavy equipment during long shoots, and the new xpro series from manfrotto takes that to a whole new level. Manfrotto has added their patented power-lock flip locks for quick operation, while not yielding any of the holding power that has put them at the top of the market. The d-shaped leg sections have been incorporated into the design to compliment the power-locks and to prevent unwanted twisting between leg sections, therefore increasing the stability of the monopod. Manfrotto includes a modified version of the 500 series fluid head which allows the user to tilt their camera forward and backward on a counter-balanced mechanism while maintaining support directly under the camera, where it is needed most. The manfrotto plus line also has a rubber leg warmer for improved grip and an adjustable hand strap for extra security. Manfrotto''s dual 1/4in -20 and 3/8in mounting thread is on top of the monopod, allowing users to direct mount a camera or use a head if required.
