Hedges CMS Red Blend

Red CMS - Hedges Hedges' Red CMS is a fascinating deep dark red wine made from Merlot (65%), Cabernet Sauvignon (27%) and Syrah (8%). Concentrated aromas of black crisp and ripe plum unfold on the nose. These are joined by notes of melon, vanilla and cocoa. The aromas of the nose are underpinned by tobacco and herbal hints. Sweet berry fruits with cocoa unfold on the palate. The structure is wonderfully juicy, fruity and supported by fine tannins. The finish awaits with clear and long character. Vinification of the Hedges CMS Red After the grapes are harvested, they are fermented in stainless steel tanks. The spicy notes are provided by the aging in wood. This red wine is aged for 10 months in 60% French and 40% American barriques.
