Graham's Port Six Grapes Reserve 375ml

This wine is from Portugal, Duriense region, Douro - Porto sub-region. Six Grapes is one of Grahams original Port blends and is thus one of the Company's oldest marks. It is a very full-bodied, luscious wine drawn from the same vineyards as Grahams vintage ports. Blended from two or three years harvests, the wine is an average of five to six years old when bottled. It follows the Grahams vintage style very closely, although it has softened more quickly by being matured in oak casks rather than in bottle. Its extremely rich fruity style makes it a truly superb, rare and appealing port. The rather curious depiction on the bottle of bunches of grapes has always been used to identify the Six Grapes blend. The nose shows concentrated fruit flavors, followed by aromas of oak and tobacco. Flavors are sweet, merging into strawberry and rose jam preserves, as well as raisined grapes and cinnamon stick. Intensely sweet and luscious.
