Uses Genteal Tears Eye Ointment Nighttime Relief contains mineral oil and petrolatum as the active ingredients. Genteal Tears Eye Ointment is usually used at night time before going to bed. This medication is soothing to the eye and provides lasting relief from the symptoms of dry eyes. Cautions Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to any of the ingredients found in Genteal Tears Eye Ointment, or if you have any other allergies. Do not use the medication if the color changes. Provide your doctor your complete medical history before using this medication. How to use Follow all directions on your prescription label very carefully. Do not touch the tip of the tube to the eye.
