This zoom lens has an optical design of 10 elements arranged in 9 groups. Three of these elements are aspherical and two are Extra-low Dispersion. The lens provides an angle of view of 86.9degndash35deg. Thanks to the inner stepping motor the lens offers precise and noise-free autofocus operation. The seven-blade round diaphragm provides a smooth bokeh quality. You can switch-on the optical image stabilization to bring down the appearance of camera shakes when shooting handheld with a zoomed-in focal length. A 52mm circular filter can be attached to the front thread.
