This venison is sourced from the North Island of New Zealand where these Red Stag Deer are free to forage on 60,000 acres of wide open rangelands. First Light Venison is exclusively grassfed and grass finished and is never administered subtherapeutic antibiotics or growth hormones. Venison has a mild, but distinctive, flavor profile that is incredibly tender and exceptionally versatile. It is available year-round and is wonderfully suited for even the lightest Summer fare.
