Catarratto, Inzolia, Grillo Amber to light brown in color. Hints of raisins and vanilla on the nose. Dry, full, harmonic and fervent. This is the Marsala of choice for fish, poultry and meat preparation. An elegant wine, to serve as an aperitif with cheese. Production Details The grapes are grown around Marsala’s township and the coastal strip of the Province of Trapani. The terroir here is typically red colored Sicilian earth with a particularly dry and sunny climate. Grapes are harvested in mid-September and crushed medium/soft crushing system. Fermentation is done in stainless steel vats, at a constant and controlled temperature. The wine is then matured for over 18 months in Slovenian oak.
