The Tortellini from Valeggio sul Mincio are a unique and tasty product, an egg pasta filled with meat, usually pork, chicken, veal and beef. It is one of the most famous traditional first courses of Veronese cuisine, typical of the small Scaliger municipality which is located right on the banks of the Mincio river. In fact, every year in June the "Love Knot" is celebrated, an anniversary dedicated to the Tortellini from Valeggio held on the Visconteo Bridge set up, for the occasion, with a long table.
