Deep Yellow Matte Ink is a rich ochre color that is very rich at cone 05 and is intense under a clear glaze. At cone 5, it is less saturated and becomes muted and darker at cone 10. These high-quality printmaking inks are designed for use on ceramics and also work great for screenprinting, craft foam printing, and monoprinting. A thin application yields best results for these true-to-color inks. Apply to unfired clay or bisque. Like an underglaze, inks fire to a matte finish. They can be used without glaze but require a clear glaze to be considered food-safe. Too thick of an application of the ink may result in a glossy finish. Cone 5–6.
